Choosing a Logo

Think of your logo as something you want to have for a long time, to show your following who you are and to make you more recognizable.
Choosing a Logo - Constantly Create Shop

Choosing a Logo could be a head-scratching task if you are unsure who your target audience is or if you just don't know where to start.

When creating logos for clients we always ask for references and/or a description of what they envision the artwork's final piece to look like. Ask yourself, will your logo be acceptable to be shown to everyone from your best friend to your grandparents or mentors? We ask this because many brands are looking for artwork with things like stacks of money, middle fingers, and things of that nature. We can draw anything you want, but is that what you really want?

Think of your logo like a tattoo. Is this what you want your brand to show off for an extended period of time? A tattoo, unlike a hand-drawn logo, can be replaced, but at what cost? Think of your logo as something you want to have for a long time, to show your following who you are and to make you more recognizable.

Next, what does the logo stand for? How would it look on different types of garments? If you're looking for it to go on smaller items i.e. hats, would your logo look good printed or embroidered small? In most cases, simplicity is the key to long-term success with your branding. Look at brands like Apple, Uber, and Starbucks. Their logos are minimal in color, but have billions of dollars of brand equity behind them. They didn't need it to be complex, they needed it to be extremely recognizable. Think about this when putting your logo references and descriptions together prior to coming to us to get a hand-drawn logo done.
